Joseph Longobardi (b. 1930) is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the District of Delaware serving on senior status.

Ronald Reagan nominated Longobardi to the court on April 4, 1984 to fill the seat vacated by James L. Latchum. Longobardi was then confirmed by the Senate on April 24, 1984, and received commission on May 3, 1984.[1]

He served as the District of Delaware's chief judge from 1989-1996, and assumed senior status on June 15, 1997.[1] Longobardi was succeeded in this position by Greg Sleet.
