Joseph M. Teefey
Joseph M. Teefey, Jr. is a circuit court judge for the 11th Judicial Circuit in Virginia. He was elected to the court by the Virginia General Assembly on November 10, 2014, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Pamela S. Baskervill. Baskervill stepped down on December 31, 2014, and Teefey assumed office on January 1, 2015, for an eight-year term, expiring on December 31, 2022.[1][2][3][4]
Education
Teefey received his undergraduate degree from the Hampden-Sydney College in 1988 and his J.D. degree from the University of the District of Columbia School of Law in 1994.[5][6]
Career
Before he joined the court, Teefey was a partner at the firm of Teefey & Teefey, P.C. in Blackstone, Virginia.[5][6]
