Biography
Medina was born in San Antonio, Texas, graduating from McCollum High School. He has his bachelor's degree in business administration from Texas A&M University at Kingsville and a master's degree in educational administration. As of 2015, he served on the board at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.[1]

The general election on May 9, 2015, in the Northside Independent School District featured four seats up for election.
