I was raised in Southside Virginia in Mecklenburg County . I started in the industrial construction industry at 18 years of age as a millwright apprentice, working my way thru the ranks and I am now a construction manager. My job has taken me to over 40 U.S. states and 6 countries. My wife and I have raised 3 children together which we homeschooled. I have decided to run because I am tired of people in metropolitan areas deciding what is best for rural people.
  • Virginia Needs Election reforms. The states ballot access laws are archaic and the winner take all distribution of electoral votes disenfranchises many rural voters
  • Virginia is one only a few states that taxes motor vehicles as personal property. This needs to end. with marijuana becoming legal in Virginia, it will create a revenue stream that will more than cover the tax on motor vehicles
  • Rural broadband and highspeed internet access. To put it simply, rural Virginians do not have access to proper internet

accountability
that we govern by consent of the governed
That I never violated anyone's rights
the good is it eliminates layers the bad it can lead to deadlock
the system that Virginia is currently using is good
yes its necessary but I Never compromise on principles
