Joseph R. Distaso is a judge for the Superior Court of Stanislaus County in California. He was appointed by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in June 2005 to succeed Wray F. Ladine. Distaso was re-elected in 2012 and his current term will expire in 2019.[1][2]

Education

Distaso received a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from Loyola School of Law.[2]

Career

2012 election

Distaso ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, he was automatically re-elected.[3]
