Joseph R. Voiland is an associate judge on the Twenty-Third Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. The court presides over DeKalb and Kendall counties. He was appointed to the court on October 9, 2014.[1] He was reappointed in 2015 and again in 2019.[2][3]
Education
Voiland received his undergraduate degree from Washington State University in 1974 and his J.D. from Loyola University in 1977.[1]
Career
Before his appointment to the court, Voiland maintained his own solo practice in Yorkville, Illinois, and served as a bankruptcy trustee with the U.S. Department of Justice in Chicago, Illinois.[1]
