|As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my highest priorities are to love God and my neighbors. Despite what we've seen from Washington these days, it is possible to kindly disagree and find common solutions. As a member of the United Utah Party, these principles are more important to me than politics. I will work to protect Utah from the political division that is rampant in our country. In 2017, I co-founded the Utah Flag Group. In our efforts to find a simpler flag for Utah, I saw first-hand how to get things done on Capitol Hill. The state flag is a smaller issue, but I'm ready to take on the big problems Utah faces. During my studies to become an astrophysicist, I have gained unique insights into issues like energy production, climate change, and new disruptive technology. My perspective will help Utah be ready for the future of self-driving cars, artificial intelligence, and blockchain technology.
I love Utah, and I am ready to serve as the representative for the 48th district.- Civility is key to good and moral government. We must put our differences behind us and reject tribalism. We are stronger by working together.
- Utah has grown rapidly in the last few decades. Unfortunately, a dangerous side-effect of this growth is contaminated air. We need to take greater action to clean our air and protect the health of all Utahns.
- I love efficiency. Because government tends to become bloated and inefficient over time, I support government reforms that will create efficiency and save taxpayer dollars long into the future.
We must implement Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) throughout Utah and the United States so we don't have to be forced to choose from "the lesser of two evils".
I also support the idea of multi-member legislative districts elected by ranked choice voting.
