I am seeking office because of the future for our children. Thomas Paine said "I prefer peace. But if trouble must come, let it come in my time, so my children can live in peace." Trouble is here, it's time to face our troubles so our children won't have to.
  • Gun safety - it's all about limiting access to who can and cannot get a gun.
  • Mental Health - as a person who struggles with depression, the care that is needed to help other is not adequately available to all
  • Wages - it's time we stop living worse than the great depression and start putting forth actions that hold large banks and corporations accountable for their actions.
I believe that health care is a right granted to us by the constitution when the framers stated "general welfare of the people." As time progresses, so do definitions of words. We accept some words as they evolve, why not accept this as part of the language evolution? Health care is a private matter that should be addressed between yourself and your physician, not some religious ideologue, not the government, but you and your doctor. We have to be better at caring for our most vulnerable of people young and old, regardless of social class or standing.
Climate Change, Gun safety, securing our democratic republic through freer elections.
Yes, enough to work through agendas and other people if re-elected.
Five terms for the House of Representatives. Three terms for the Senate and the constitution lays out the term limits on the office of the presidency and vice presidency.
Yes, without having to leave to much on the table.
