Joseph Swann was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 8 of the South Carolina State Senate.

Swann ran in the 2012 election for South Carolina State Senate District 8. He ran against Chad Groover, Ross Turner, Jim Lee and incumbent David Thomas in the Republican primary on June 12.[1] The primary resulted in a runoff between Turner and himself, which he lost by a slim margin.[2]
