Joseph Very Quarles (1843-1911) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.[1]

He was nominated by President Theodore Roosevelt on February 25, 1905 to fill a seat vacated by William Henry Seaman. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 6, 1905, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on October 7, 1911.[1] Quarles are succeeded in this position by Ferdinand August Geiger.
