Joseph Willie II (Democratic Party) ran for election for the Place 3 judge of the Texas Fourteenth District Court of Appeals. He lost in the Democratic primary on March 6, 2018.
Willie was a 2016 candidate for Precinct 7 Harris County Justice of the Peace in Texas.
Biography
Joseph Willie II lives in Houston, Texas. Willie served in the United States Air Force from 1976 to 1978 and reached the rank of Airman, the United States Air Force Reserve from 1985 to 2001 and reached the rank of Captain, and the United States Navy Reserve and reached the rank of Captain.[1]
He earned a B.S. in biology from Tennessee State University in 1978, a D.D.S. from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1982, and a J.D. from the South Texas College of Law in 1991. Willie’s career experience includes working as an attorney with his own law practice and a dentist with his own general dentistry firm.[1]
