Joseph Winston Cox
Joseph Winston Cox (1875-1939) was an associate justice on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
He was nominated by President Herbert Hoover on June 23, 1930 to a seat created by 46 Stat. 785. He was confirmed by the Senate on July 1st of that year, and received commission July 7th. He served on this court until his death on September 9, 1939.[1]
