Josh Jaffe
Josh Jaffe was a nonpartisan candidate for representative on the Columbus City Council in Ohio. Jaffe was defeated in the primary election on May 2, 2017.
Biography
Jaffe received a bachelor's degree in political science from Washington University in St. Louis. He started working for the Franklin County Republican Party in 2011 as an intern, was a political director from 2011 to 2015, and became executive director of the organization in November 2015.[1]

2017
The city of Columbus, Ohio, held elections on November 7, 2017. A primary election occurred on May 2, 2017. Three of the seven seats on the city council were up for election. The positions of city attorney and city auditor were also on the ballot. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 1, 2017.[2]
