Josh was born and raised in Idaho with the Idahoan values of independent thinking, traditional conservatism, and being true to one’s word. As a teen Josh and his family were deeply involved in serving others through Search and Rescue. The desire to serve while in college, led him into Wildland Firefighting where he developed a love for the unique beauty of our state as he traveled throughout Idaho and other Western States protecting forests, homes, and people.

Throughout his firefighting career, Josh got to meet and know many great people who too often feel their voices are not heard. After graduating from the University of Idaho as a mechanical engineer specializing in robotics, Josh settled down in Twin Falls, where he enjoys paddle boarding, dirt biking, and CrossFit competitions.

The desire to serve and protect the broader community has continued to run deep in Josh. He is a board member of the Magic Valley Liberty Alliance, elected member of the Twin Falls Republican Central Committee, and teaches Sunday School at his local church.

Defending the liberty of Idahoans with conservative solutions is why he is running for State Senate in District 25.
  • PROTECT IDAHO’S CHILDREN: Standing against the agenda to promote child genital mutilation, sterilization, and the sexualization of minors. Keeping our schools and libraries safe places for learning, not indoctrination.
  • SECURE THE BORDER: Protect our communities from illegal immigration flowing into our city through Biden’s open border. Against amnesty and drivers licenses for illegal immigrants.
  • DEFEND IDAHOANS’ LIBERTY: Standing for the unborn, our right to bear arms, actual fiscal responsibility, and our constitutional liberty.
Protecting Idaho's children, pushing back against the rising flood of drugs and crime pouring into our community through Joe Biden's open border, and defending Idahoans' liberty against federal overreach
Honesty, Integrity and the backbone to do the right thing when there is overwhelming pressure to compromise.
my first "real" job was at 16 as a laborer for a woodstove company. That's when I realized how awful taxes were.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Idaho

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
