Josh Penry
Josh Penry is a former Republican member of the Colorado State Senate, representing District 7 from 2007 to 2011. He previously served in the Colorado House of Representatives from 2004 to 2006.
Biography
Penry earned his B.S. from Mesa State College. His professional experience includes working as Press Secretary for United States Representative Scott McInnis.

Penry co-sponsored legislation introduced in the Colorado House of Representatives on March 24, 2009 that would have:
- Required that petition drive management companies who hire paid circulators go through a licensing process.
- Circulators would be required to go through a government-sponsored training procedure before they would be allowed to collect signatures legally.[1]

On November 7, 2006, Penry was elected to the 7th District Seat in the Colorado State Senate, defeating opponent Dana Barker (D).[4]
