I am a husband to my best friend and a Dad to three kids. We have lived in Raleigh for nearly 20 years and love our city. I am running for office because over the time we have lived in Raleigh there has been a significant drop in proficiency rates in our students and I believe that 1 our of 3 being not proficient is unacceptable.
  • Proficient students will lead to a better future society.
  • Raleigh makes a $700,000,000+ investment in our public schools annually which is a lot of money in our City and I believe that we should expect better proficiency results.
  • We have a long history of being a top school system and I believe we can return our schools to this position.
I am passionate about returning our school system to being the model of how to educate children which we were in the early 2000's.
The most important thing an elected official can do is to serve the will of the people that they represent and make decisions which will help build a better future society.
My first job was in the golf business as a cart attendant. I held the job for multiple years on a part time basis.
The primary role of the school board member is to hold accountable and work with the Superintendent to deliver an educational experience that at minimum
