Joshauwa Brown was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He earned a high school diploma from Stranahan High School and attended Broward Community College. Brown's career experience includes working as a founder and CEO.[1]

Inc", I have been at the forefront of empowering underprivileged individuals in the community to overcome hardships through human services and advocacy. This role has not only allowed me to make a tangible difference but has also taught me the value of perseverance, innovation, and community engagement.
My commitment to public service is also reflected in my advocacy work. I have been a vocal proponent of rental cap, reducing property taxes & homeowner insurances, and more vocational training. Working tirelessly to bring attention to these critical areas and drive policy changes that benefit our community.
In addition to my professional and civic engagements, I currently serve as the at-large member on the Central County Community Advisory Board(CCCAB)and several associations boards that are dedicated to improving the quality of life in our district. This personal connection fuels my dedication to ensuring that every voice in our community is hear and every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

The mother spoke passionately about her fear of being homeless and the stress it was causing her family. She explained how difficult it had become to make ends meet with these expenses, despite her best efforts to budget and save. Her story was heartbreaking, yet all to common among residents of district 99.
