Joshua Allison (New Mexico)
Joshua Allison is a judge for Division XXIII of the New Mexico 2nd Judicial District Court. Allison assumed office in 2019. Allison's current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Allison (Democratic Party) ran for re-election for the Division XXIII judge of the New Mexico 2nd Judicial District Court. Allison won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Education
Allison graduated summa cum laude from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2008. He was Order of the Coif.[1]
Career
Allison was a law clerk to then-Chief Justice Edward Chavez of the New Mexico Supreme Court. He previously worked as an associate with Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. in the Orange County, California, office. Allison joined the firm of Sheehan & Sheehan in June 2006 as a law clerk. He became an associate in June 2010 and eventually became a shareholder/managing director.[1]
