Josh Davenport was a 2016 Republican candidate for Rockingham 17 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He was also a 2014 Republican candidate for Rockingham 17 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.

He is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Rockingham 12 from 2010 to 2012.

Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Michael Cahill, incumbent Marcia Moody and Ella Walichnowska were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Joshua Davenport and Adam Schroadter were unopposed in the Republican primary. Cahill, Moody, Walichnowska, Davenport and Schroadter faced off in the general election.[5] All three incumbents, Cahill, Moody, and Schroadter defeated challengers Walichnowska and Davenport in the general election.[6]
