Drake was defeated by Republican Tom Cotton.[1] Drake ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Arkansas's 4th District. He faced Gene Jeffress, Tom Cotton (R) and Bobby Tullis (G) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
