Biography

Joshua Elliot grew up in Connecticut and attended high school in Hamden. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology from Ithaca College and went on to obtain his J.D. at the Quinnipiac School of Law. Elliot's professional experience includes co-owning and managing two family-run natural food stores.

Elliot was first elected to represent District 88 in the Connecticut House of Representatives in 2016. In the 2019 session he served as Assistant Majority Leader, vice chair of the Commerce Committee, and member of the Finance, Revenue & Bonding and Energy and Technology committees.
