Joshua is a conservative Republican. He has owned his business for almost two decades, has been married since 2005, and has two children. He loves being involved in the community and its growth.
  • We all deserve the chance of a better future. Joshua plans to invest in workforce development to open career advancement to hard workers and giving them the chance of having the American dream of home ownership. Part of a better future also means placing a high priority on making sure education is paramount. Our children get the best education without being subjected to political or social agendas. Citizens know their own needs better than the government and should keep more their own money through lower taxes and securing their personal property rights.
  • Community values are paramount and Joshua believes our shared community values of faith, family, and the right to live life should be protected. As a parent of two children, Joshua knows parents know what is best for their kids and will do a better job raising them than anyone else. Joshua's faith in Jesus is a basis for his life and leading. He will do all he can to protect everyone's right to free expression of religion. As a business person he has invested lots of money and time into building our community and knows all should be able to live and build a business they want to build and government should only be a resource. Foresight is important in growing community's and Joshua success shows he will utilize foresight in legislation.
  • Joshua believes in public safety. He places a high priority on funding police to make sure our community continues to stay safe as it grows. Fire safety and first responders are always placing their lives on the line to keep us safe and deserve to be well taken care of. Joshua respects and honors their service and wants to make sure they are fully funded to ensure those living in our community will be safe from accidental dangers that arise. On our public safety, Joshua also knows the county jail needs help and wants to pursue making sure it is funded so we can keep criminals off the streets to safeguard our children as they play with their friends.
To ensure our public education is a place of education and not someone's political or social agenda.

To allow citizens to keep more of their money through lower taxes and eliminating junk regulations.
To protect Arkansas's property rights and help those who can purchase to be able to do so easily and responsibly.

As an NRA member and advanced conceal and carry licensee, Joshua is passionate about protecting our 2nd amendment rights against any who would want to restrict or eliminate lawful citizens from owning and carrying their weapons.
Abraham Lincoln showed he would not give up; he would not allow defeat to defeat him. His grit and passion brought him to be our 16th president and the perfect person to lead our country through pivotal cultural change.
One of my favorite books is "In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day." It is a book about risk-taking, having faith, and making big decisions. If you want to challenge yourself, it is a must read.
An elected official should be a person of values who does what they say and lives who they are. As a conservative Republican, it is important to me that I live that out through all legislation I am a part of. My decisions are grounded in my faith as a Christian, and I will live out those principles as I legislate.
Integrity - I value keeping my commitments

Responsibility - I have a sense of responsibility when I make a commitment
History - We learn a lot from history and should keep it in mind, or we stand a chance of repeating it.
Grit - As a business owner I know it takes many hours and a tenacity to keep going when it gets hard to be successful, and I'll take that same attitude to the capital.

Passion - When I take a stand, it means something in my heart. I attach to it with care.
When I am on my death bed I want to look back over my life and know I did all I could do to make this world a better place. That includes being a good dad to my children and hearing Jesus say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."
I was in College before a significant historical event happened that really stuck in my memory, and that was the bombing of the World Trade Towers in New York City. I was in class when someone came in and asked us to turn the TV on because a plane just crashed into one of the towers. We were watching as the second plane flew into the second tower. I knew, at that moment, something terrible was happening. My life has been forever impacted as I have a deep respect and love for the freedom our country stands for.
REALTOR. I have been involved in real estate since 2005.
The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I connected with the characters in such a way that I felt friends were leaving my life when it came to an end. Any book that can bring that kind of connection deserves a read.
I don't have a specific name, but I want to be one who embarks on a quest in a middle-aged setting. Perhaps the one who was the mage or wizard that helped lead the group on their journey.
It should be a positive one. The governor is a critical partner in legislation as a separate branch that must sign off on legislation.
No, our legislators must know how to relate to those they are leading, and working outside of government is a perfect way to relate and understand the real needs of its citizens.
Yes, those who understand you and know who you are will know how to work with you. More gets done when there is a relationship.
I have core values that I will not compromise. Outside of those values, if we can gain legislation that gives us the majority of what we want, we are better off than if we were to get nothing because no one was willing to go to the table and work something out.
