Joshua J. Sanchez
Joshua J. Sanchez is a judge for Division IV of the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court in New Mexico. He assumed office on March 15, 2021. His current term ends on December 31, 2026.
Sanchez (Democratic Party) ran in a special election for the Division IV judge of the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court in New Mexico. He won in the special general election on November 8, 2022.
Sanchez was appointed to Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court District IV by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) on March 3, 2021.[1]
Biography
Joshua J. Sanchez received a B.A. in political science, along with a minor in communications, from the University of New Mexico. He also received his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Sanchez worked as a public defender and an attorney in private practice.[2]
