I am a proud public school high school English teacher at my alma mater (Stillwater Area High School) for the past 20 years (25 years overall in public schools). My wife and I are proud to be raising our 3 daughters in the community that did so much to support and develop me as a young person growing up here. We will fight tirelessly for clean water, strong schools and will never blink when it comes to supporting a woman's right to choose.
  • Strong schools, clean water and women's rights!
  • Strong schools, clean water and women's rights!
  • Strong schools, clean water and women's rights!
Water, schools and women's reproductive healthcare rights.
My parents. They are calm, happy, and comfortable with who they are.
Honesty, the ability to listen, and the ability to remain calm and collected when ridiculous attacks are tossed about by the opposition who are not interested in solving our challenges.
Clean water for all and support for our public schools so every child can become who they choose to be.
I picked pumpkins, sweet corn, and squash. It lasted the summer and fall of my junior year of high school.
East of Eden by John Steinbeck. Clearly shows what it takes to be a good human and what doesn't achieve that.
Girl From the North Country--Bob Dylan
Being the best father I can be while trying to be a good state representative for the constituents I serve.
I feel this is one of my strengths. Yes. It is vital to a healthy state government.
I would support mitigation efforts for PFAS that have been detected in our local water supplies.
Education committees, Labor committee, and Capital investment committee.
Good for our state. We need the Equal Rights Amendment on the ballot to ensure it finds its way into our Minnesota Constitution where it belongs.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Minnesota

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Click here for an overview of legislative scorecards in all 50 states.  To contribute to the list of Minnesota scorecards, email suggestions to editor@ballotpedia.org.
