Josie Leavitt (Democratic Party) was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing Grand Isle-Chittenden District. She assumed office on January 4, 2023. She left office on January 8, 2025.

Leavitt (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Vermont House of Representatives to represent Grand Isle-Chittenden District. She lost in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Josie Leavitt earned a bachelor's degree in English in 1987 and an M.A. in the teaching of English in 1992, both from Columbia University. Her career experience includes working as a development associate for a nonprofit, as development director and executive director of the Pride Center of Vermont, as a business owner, and as a director of development at the Vermont Bar Foundation.[1]
