- Bridge the Divide! Vote Independent (No Party Preference)! Vote Stein!
It’s wrong that two parties are gerrymandering our country for themselves. Shame on both for shutting down the government and causing 41 million to go hungry. Shame on them for failing to fix health care, Social Security, inflation, for ballooning our national debt, and for so much more.
Worried about America’s direction? Let’s work together to change America’s trajectory. But let’s also recognize that we are part of the problem. Repeatedly, we vote for the same two billionaire-financed parties and their I’ll-do-anything-to-get-elected candidates. I am offering you an opportunity to change that! - There are 435 members of the House of Representatives, but not one is an Independent. That’s no way to bridge the partisan divide in our country, a nation overflowing with reasonable citizens. I will work every day to put “we the people” first, to bridge the divide, to look out for America, and yes, to compromise, so that all of us benefit. I pledge to you that I’ll work with all, but remain staunchly Independent. If I don’t, throw me out of office. It won’t be easy, the road to fixing America is long, but I will stand proudly Independent, grateful to represent you. We in Silicon Valley and on the Coast are leaders. We are early adopters. Let’s start bridging the divide. Vote Independent (No Party Preference)! Vote Stein!
- I cannot fix our country all by myself and I will not tell you otherwise. To fix our nation’s divide, it will take many Independents getting elected, it will take many changes to our laws and ultimately it will take “we the people” engaging more, voting more, working more consistently to bridge the divides in our communities. I will work with everyone to fix our country’s problems. For example, I have a three-part plan to fix Social Security (solvent with full benefits for 75+ years), and at the same time, create a minimum basic benefit for all (see votestein.com for details). But, as an Independent, I am willing to work with everyone and to revise my three-part-fix-plus-one-new-benefit plan, as long as we fix Social Security.
