Joy Wiesenfeld Markman was a judge for the Superior Court of Orange County in California. She was appointed to the Orange County Municipal Court by former governor Pete Wilson in May 1993. Markman was elevated to the Superior Court in July 1997 upon court unification. She succeeded William W. Bedsworth.[1][2] Markman left office on January 2, 2023.

Education

Markman received a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1972. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Davis in 1975.[3]
