Joyce Rankin
Joyce Rankin (Republican Party) was a member of the Colorado State Board of Education, representing Colorado's 3rd Congressional District. She assumed office in 2015. She left office on January 10, 2023.
Rankin (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Colorado State Board of Education to represent Colorado's 3rd Congressional District. She won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
A native of Allen Park, Michigan, Rankin moved to California after her graduation from Michigan State University to teach fifth grade. After receiving her master's degree from California State University, Rankin became an elementary school principal. Rankin is married to state Rep. Bob Rankin (R), and works as a legislative aide in his office.[1]

Political career
Colorado State Board of Education (2015-2023)
Rankin was first appointed to the board in August 2015 following the resignation of former board member Marcia Neal.[2] Rankin was elected to serve the remaining four years of Neal's term in November 2016.[1]
