Joyce V. Kimbler is a judge of the Medina County Court of Common Pleas in Medina, Ohio.[1] She was elected on November 4, 2014, to a term that expires on December 31, 2020.[2]

Kimbler ran for election to the Medina County Court of Common Pleas.
General: She defeated Gary F. Werner in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 55.2 percent of the vote. [1][3] 

Education

Kimbler received her undergraduate degree from Evangel College and her J.D. degree from the University of Akron School of Law.[4]

Career

Prior to her election to the bench, Kimbler worked as a trial attorney for twenty-nine years. She gained experience in private practice, served as a judicial attorney for the Ohio Ninth District Court of Appeals, and clerked for the Summit County Court of Common Pleas.[4]
