Joyce A. Wheeler is a superior court justice for the Cumberland County Superior Court in Cumberland County, Maine.[1] She was appointed to the court by former Democratic Governor John Baldacci on April 20, 2005, and has been on active retired status since April 2015.[2][3]
Education
Wheeler received a B.A. and an M.A. from Boston University. She went on to earn a law degree from Boston College.[2]
Career
Prior to her judicial appointment in 2005, Wheeler was an attorney in private practice and counsel for the University of Maine System. She also has experience teaching at the University of Maine School of Law.[2]
