Juan Hinojosa (Texas)
Juan Hinojosa (Democratic Party) (also known as Chuy) is a member of the Texas State Senate, representing District 20. He assumed office in 2002. His current term ends on January 9, 2029.
Hinojosa (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Texas State Senate to represent District 20. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
He served as Senate President Pro Tempore in 2015.
Hinojosa served in the Texas House of Representatives from 1981 to 1990.
Biography
Hinojosa graduated from the University of Texas Pan American and later obtained a J.D. from Georgetown University.
In addition to being a senator, Hinojosa is also an attorney for his own private practice and has done so since 1980.[1]
