Juanita Bing Newton was a judge for the New York Court of Claims. She was first appointed to the court by Governor Mario Cuomo in 1987. She was reappointed by Governor George Pataki in 1995 and 2004. Her term on the court expired in 2013.[1]

Education

Newton earned an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in 1972. She was awarded a J.D. from the Catholic University of America's, Columbus School of Law in 1975.[2][1]
