Juanita Stedman is a former juvenile court judge of Cobb County, Georgia.[1] She retired on June 30, 2016.[2] She ran for the Cobb Judicial Circuit in 2014.

Education

Juanita received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, and her masters in education and J.D. from the University of Georgia.[3]

Career

Before she was on the bench, Stedman served as administrative law judge for special education due process hearings throughout Georgia. She has also been a private practice attorney at the firm Juanita P. Stedman, P.C. Prior to her career in law, Stedman was a special education teacher.[3]

Stedman ran for election to the Cobb Judicial Circuit, Georgia.
General: She faced Ann Harris and Nathan J. Wade in the general election on May 20, 2014. Because no candidate received 50% of the vote, Stedman and Harris competed in a runoff election on July 22, 2014.
