Judge Barnes to run for District 367 judgeship

Texas: Judge Margaret Barnes has been chosen to replace Judge Lee Gabriel as the Republican nominee for the 367th District Court judgeship in the November general election. Gabriel withdrew from the race after gaining the Republican nomination to a seat on the 2nd District Court of Appeals. Barnes has worked for the past eight years as a judge on the Denton County Court at Law #2. She was nominated by the Denton County Republican Party's Executive Committee at a meeting on June 29th.[1]
