Judge Chimes to run for Supreme Court

Orchard Park, New York: Judge Deborah A. Chimes of the Orchard Park Town Court in New York has been endorsed to run for the New York Supreme Court 8th Judicial District in the general election. On November 2, 2010, she will run as a Republican and Conservative for a seat on this court. She was rated Qualified for this position by the Independent Judicial Election Qualification and other organizations.
Judge Chimes has been a judge in Orchard Park since 2004. She also works as an acting judge for the Orchard Park Village Court and as an arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau. Prior to becoming a judge, she practiced for 20 years as a trial attorney. She received her law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo-School of Law in 1989.[1]
