ANCHORAGE, Alaska: Judge John Suddock has dismissed a sexual assault lawsuit against corrections officer Steve Walcutt.

A group of ten inmates claimed that the corrections officer sexually assaulted inmates at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility and Anchorage Jail.[1]

The assistant attorney general, Ben Hofmeister, claimed the allegations were fabrications and Judge Suddock stated that Officer Steve Walcutt was more credible than the prisoners, and there was no evidence the prisoners suffered emotional distress or sexual abuse.[1]

The charges were dismissed and Walcutt continues to work at the Mat-Su Pre-Trial Facility.[1]
