Judge Tom Thornbrugh appointed to Oklahoma Court of Appeals

Oklahoma: Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin has appointed former 14th District Judge P. Thomas Thornbrugh to the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals. The vacancy sat open for over two months. Thornbrugh brings 20 years of private practice experience and over 200 jury trials during his 15 years on the bench as a district court judge to his new position on the Court of Appeals. Governor Fallin said of Thornbrugh "The Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals plays an important role in ensuring our court system provides fair and just treatment for all. Judge Thornbrugh has had a distinguished career in both private practice and on the bench. I know in his new role on the Court of Civil Appeals Judge Thornbrugh will be committed to ensuring our citizens receive fair treatment under the law.”[1]
