Judge Valentine to retire

Las Cruces, New Mexico: Jerald A. Valentine, Chief Judge of the 3rd Judicial District Court in New Mexico, has announced that he will retire on December 31, 2010.
Valentine has practiced law since 1972 and has served in his current position presiding over the 3rd District since 2008. Linda Brown, an administrative assistant for the trial court, stated "On behalf of the whole court, he is going to be very missed."[1]
