- Karen M. Love, a judge of the Indiana Superior Courts (Click here (dead link) to read her application); and
- Joby Jerrells, a Deputy Attorney General in the Indiana Attorney General's Office (Click here (dead link) to read his application).
The nominees aim to succeed Thomas G. Fisher, who will retire from the court on January 1, 2011. Fisher has served as the only judge on the Indiana Tax Court since the Indiana General Assemby created the court in 1986. The responsibility falls to Governor Daniels to appoint a successor.[1]
