Judie Mancuso is a successful Laguna Beach based community and nonprofit leader with an unmatched record of service, passing meaningful policies and building winning coalitions.

With an early career spent leading large teams in the Information Technology industry over a span of 20 years, Judie is the Founder & CEO of Social Compassion in Legislation, a leading nonprofit dedicated to the protection of the environment and animals. Judie’s drive and legislative advocacy has been key to taking on some of the world’s largest special interests and winning — sponsoring over 54 state bills, with 19 being successfully signed into law.

As a former member of the California Veterinary Medical Board and current Vice-Chair of the Laguna Beach Environmental Sustainability Committee, Judie has developed an ironclad reputation as a champion for the environment, people and animals.

In 2019, Mancuso was named in the top ten of the top 100 most influential people in Orange County.
  • Judie will fight climate change and combat pollution by working to ensure polluters are held accountable for their negative effects on the environment, our wildlife, and our local economy.
  • In Sacramento, she will prioritize public health by expanding access to critical health care services and addressing the behavioral, mental health, and housing needs of people experiencing homelessness.
  • We must improve public safety by investing in strategies that have been proven to reduce criminal recidivism, provide the resources our police and firefighters need, and build public trust in our law enforcement agencies.
