Judith N. Macaluso is a former associate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. She was appointed to the court by President George W. Bush in 2003. She retired from the court in 2016, assuming senior status.[1][2]
Education
Macaluso received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in 1972, and her J.D. from Howard University School of Law in 1975.[1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Macaluso served as an attorney with the Department of Labor and the United States Department of Justice. In 1997, she was appointed a Hearing Commissioner (now a Magistrate Judge) for the Superior Court. Macaluso served in this capacity until becoming a judge in 2003. She retired from the bench in 2016.[1][2]
