I was born in Texas and moved to Jonesboro when I was seven. My father was a Mathematics and Computer Sciences professor at Arkansas State University. My mother ran for State Representative in Jonesboro, in the ’70s, which inspired my passion for public policy. I have lived in Park Hill since 2005 with my wife, daughter, and two dogs.

For thirty years, I’ve been committed to electing candidates and directing ballot measures that improve people's lives. , including raising Arkansas’ minimum wage. I want to expand my commitment to empowering citizens and helping people as a State Legislator.

I’m running to repeal the “Trigger Law” that forces survivors of rape and incest to give birth, and to fight for an increase in teacher pay and a world-class public education, and system for our kids. I’ll work to decriminalize cannabis and expunge state marijuana convictions of nonviolent offenders.
