Judy Armstrong
Judy Armstrong is an at-large member of the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education. Armstrong assumed office on January 8, 2024. Armstrong's current term ends on January 10, 2028.
Governor Jeff Landry (R) appointed Armstrong to the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education on January 5, 2024, to replace Belinda Davis (nonpartisan).[1]
Biography
Dr. Judy Hickman Armstrong earned a B.S. degree in biology and math from Louisiana College, an M. Ed. in supervision and administration from Louisiana State University, a Ph.D. in educational administration and business management from Louisiana State University, and a master of religious education from Loyola University. Her career experience includes working as a biology and math teacher at the high school level. Additionally, Armstrong worked as Diocese of Baton Rouge assistant superintendent, St. Joseph Academy academic associate principal, St. Thomas More Catholic School principal, and Ursuline Academy principal and curriculum and assessment administrator. Armstrong received the National Catholic Educational Association Presidential Award.[2]
