Judy Conard ran for judge on the Superior Court of Lake County in 2012.

2012 election

Conard was one of four candidates in the primary election on June 5, 2012. She was defeated by Michael Lunas in the general election on November 6, receiving 43.5% of the vote.[1][2]

Education

Conard received her undergraduate degree from California State University and her J.D. from Western State University College of Law.[3]

Career

Conard began her professional career as a middle school teacher. After receiving her law degree, Conard became a prosecutor in the San Diego City Attorney's Office. Next, she went into private practice. In 1993, Conard moved to Lake County and became a public defender. She works in private practice.[3]
