Judy L. McMahon
Judy L. McMahon is a former family court judge for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina. She was first elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in February 1983 and retired in 2016.[1][2]
Education
McMahon received her undergraduate degree from Winthrop College in 1966, her master's degree from Florida State University in 1967, and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1976.[1]
Career
Before her election to the court, McMahon worked as an attorney in private practice in Charleston, S.C. She also previously served as a municipal court judge for the City of Charleston from 1978 to 1983.[1]
