Heicklen was a Libertarian candidate for District 37 of the New Jersey General Assembly. He was defeated in the November 8 general election. Incumbents Valerie Vainieri Huttle and Gordon Johnson ran unopposed in the June 7 Democratic primary. Keith Jensen and Gregory Aslanian ran unopposed in the Republican primary.[1]
