Julian Antonio Martinez is a true American success story. He was born into a hardworking family in the Dominican Republic, the oldest of six siblings. Wanting a better life for their children, Julian's parents immigrated to the United States in 1965 to New York. Always a hard worker, Julian worked two part-time jobs while attending high school. 1978, he married his high school sweetheart Carmen. With nothing but a dream, they moved to Houston to start a new life.
In 1985, Julian ventured out to start his own business. Today, Julian runs a multi-million-dollar car dealer & service center dedicated to serving the Houston community. Julian prides himself on going the extra mile for his customers and building friendships with those who walk through the door.
In their 41 years of marriage, Julian and Carmen have been blessed with three children and three grandchildren. As a Bible-believing Christian, Julian raised his children to love God, go to church, and become followers of Christ. He taught them how to work and study hard; and to dream big and be persistent.

Achieving the American dream has not been easy, but Julian has never let failure keep him down. Through economic downturns and difficult circumstances, he's taken the necessary steps to stay ahead and keep his corporation successful and thriving. Julian loves a challenge and is determined to make positive changes in Washington. With your help, we can dream big and achieve more than we thought possible!

Term limits - It's time for term limits in U.S. congress

Pro-Life - It's our duty to protect the life of the unborn

Education - I support school choice and increased investments in trade schools.

Healthcare - We need transparent healthcare pricing and end the practice of surprise billing

Infrastructure - We need to invest in Houston's infrastructure to prevent catastrophic damage from frequent flooding.

Second Amendment - I support the right to bear arms.

President Trump - As a husband, father, Hispanic immigrant and local businessman, I support President Trump.

It starts with leadership. Leaders need to have humilty and have courage to make tough choices. We need to have our best leaders from the community serve in Congress and then come back to the community once their term limit is up.
I am tired of seeing politicians worry more about reelection then getting things done for the people they represent. Our district needs to be represented more effectively in Congress. As a successful business owner, I know that leadership, humilty, and hardwork are everything.
I remember when President Kennedy was shot. My family and I were living in the Dominican Republic and we heard the news on a radio. It was a very sad day. Even though we were in another country, I remember all of us crying. The United States is not only important to American citizens, but to the rest of the world as well.
One of the greatest challenges will be to unite as one nation because we are more divided than we have ever been. Our strength comes in unity.
