Julie A. Palafox
Julie A. Palafox is a judge of the Superior Court of Orange County in California. She assumed office in 2015. Her current term ends on January 8, 2029.
Palafox won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Orange County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.
Palafox was appointed to the court by Governor Jerry Brown on July 23, 2015. At the time of her appointment, she was an attorney in private practice.[1]

Palafox earned her undergraduate degree from University of Notre Dame and her J.D. from the Pepperdine University School of Law.[1]
Career
Palafox was appointed to the Superior Court of Orange County on July 23, 2015. Prior to joining the court, she was an attorney in private practice from 2000 to 2015. She was partner at two law firms prior to entering private practice, Alevizon Edwards and Palafox from 1998 to 2000 and Alevizon, Smith, Susson and Palafox fomr 1990 to 1998.[1]
