Julie Cosimo
Julie Cosimo was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 50 of the Illinois House of Representatives.
Biography
Cosimo earned her B.A. in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1989, her M.Ed. in College Student Personnel from Loyola University of Chicago in 1997 and her Ed.D. in Higher Education and Organizational Change from Benedictine University in 2009. Her professional experience includes working as Director of Career Development for Benedictine University since 2000.[1]
Elections
2014
Elections for the Illinois House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on March 18, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 2, 2013. Valerie L. Burd ran unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Keith R. Wheeler defeated Beth C. Goncher, Julie Cosimo and William F. Keck in the Republican primary. Wheeler then defeated Burd in the general election.[2][3][4][5]
