Biography
Julie Jordan was born in Lancaster, California. She earned a bachelor’s degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1988 and a master’s degree from Georgia Southern University in 1995. Jordan’s career experience includes working as a high school counselor and registrar. She has served in a variety of organizational roles with the Georgia School Counselors Association, including as President.
Jordan has also served in several organizational roles with the Glynn County Democratic Party, including as Chair and Vice Chair of Constituency Groups for the 1st Congressional District. In addition, she has volunteered for Women’s Voices of Glynn County and has served as Glynn County liaison to Greening Georgia, an environmental caucus of the Democratic Party of Georgia. Jordan’s community service experience includes serving on the Selden Park Advisory Board.[1]
